Dev Log 1 from Nat


This past week me and my team needed to present a playtest example for the rest of the class to get a feel of what to expect when playing the game. I needed to design and draw out the user interface and perform a playtest. With the help from the team, we were able to come up with characters, power ups and the main character to help understand the user interface better and how to play the game. By next class the team needs to have the whole storyline and game mechanics from beginning to end completed so we can begin to execute the game in a physical playable form. Alone I was able to finish the stage where our protagonist will start their story.  Trying to make the user interface not only pleasing to the eye, but easy to understand so they can maneuver around the play field with ease. By next week I should have started on creating the 8 bit background of the play field. I know of a website that would help assist me in executing the background.
